The Beginnings of NaNo 2o12

So...this is basically my keep-along thing. Seeing as how I'm handwriting/typewriting/typing my ENTIRE novel, this is the place for anyone interested to see how I'm doing. I'll post my word count, how the plot is, what I'm eating, anythin n everything here ^-^

Gahh

So. Prom is on Friday. I have my dress and shoes, he has his tux. The flowers are ordered and we have a plan for what we're going to do [us and 5 other friends].

But I have no clue how I'm going to do my hair/makeup. I was messing with some hairstyles today and found one I like, it's just very plain. But I can't expect anything too fancy since i have to do it myself.

Basically, I'm doing a french braid around the bottom on my head, about halfway around, then I'm braiding it normally and putting these really diamondy twisty things into the long braid. But I dunno...it's my senior prom and it feels so boring.

But my nails will be cute ^-^ They're tux's. Like these. [clicky]

Yeah, they're fake, and they're not actual nails, but they should last me through the night :D

Makeup is my biggest issue. I really never wear anything, and nothing will look fine with my dress...but I don't want to wear NOTHING. Y'know?

Blehh, okay that rant is over with.

---------------------------

On another note, I started my first actual chapter of Skyfire. It starts intense, as most of my beginnings do, but then I noticed something...she ran off AFTER she graduated, and she's still having issues with living on the streets...I think I need to give her a job.

Oh!! Yes!! :D Thanks guys, y'all gave me the idea I needed. Muahaha!!!

I'm really excited for this story, like, I'll be talking about a book then I'll drift into the topic of Skyfire. I'm so ready to just delve into this story, but I need to pace myself. Keep myself excited about writing it. :)

I might even pass over on NaNo for it, if it's still going. I want to have it done by then though. '':/ I'm not too good with deadlines though.

Anyway! :D

I love you all!!

  1. You could try to keep your makeup neutral if you'd like and just add one thing to make it more formal. For example, I love red lipstick, so I'll put on a lot of mascara, some dark gray eyeliner (never black!), a light white eyeshadow (so light that it just shimmers), and then a darkish red lipstick. Of course, you don't have to use red lipstick- just stick to something that you want to show off and then focus on that :)

  2. Yeah, that's what I was talking my friend about today. I have really green eyes and I love to make them really show but it's hard to with my glasses on, so I was gonna take them off when I get to prom and have my eye makeup really bring out the green [some purple eyeshadow to match my dress :D]

  3. Sounds like a great idea! If you could wear contacts, that'll be even better. I wish I had green eyes... I noticed that a lot of the guys I'm attracted to (like the Briterican) have green eyes.

  4. Sadly, I can't wear contacts >.< I seem to have a thing for blue eyes. I'm not sure why, they're just so...pretty. xD
